My goal for this posting is simply to connect my Upstate New York brethren. Since the inception of Twitter Lists in the Fall of 2009 I have been actively adding Upstate New York Twitters to a common list.

A business can’t just have a nice logo and a good tagline and call it a day.

The number of Social Media “Communities” grows exponentially every day as wanna-be blogging gurus attempt to siphon off some of the high traffic revenue benefits well established Online Communities such as Problogger, BlogCatalog, and Blogged enjoy.

Learning, (in this case through books), is a very important part of striving for business greatness. The following list of books are titles that I have read and feel hold immense quantities of value to business professionals. No matter what industry you’re in and no matter what role you play in your organization these books will help you on your journey to greatness.

Furthermore, if your negativity towards Twitter has anything to do with being “Old School” than you need to get over that and learn how apply “Old School” business to New Technology.

I recently joined a local chapter of BNI, (Business Networks International, www.bnineny.com), Crossroads Connection in Delmar, NY. BNI is a professional business referral group. There are many groups similar to BNI throughout the country however my experience is with BNI and I believe in the program.
