I can’t imagine that there is anyone out there who has a hard time reading this blog. Seriously, this is how I talk in real life. I use all the same words and my cadence is the same. I’m actually saying the words in my head like we’re having a conversation while I write this.

No one likes to talk about the mistakes they make. Mistakes at work, mistakes at home, doesn’t matter, thinking about our mistakes is not pleasant and easily brushed to the back of our mind. I am as guilty of this as the next person.

I’m talking about your brother-in-law’s uncle and your grandmother’s cousin’s niece who once had this friend that told them you should have this insurance carrier or only buy this amount of coverage or you should only be paying this a year in insurance premiums.

When I sit back and think about the burden laid upon small business owners when it comes to providing health insurance for their employees it makes me sad, a little angry, and very motivated.

Our chapter is laser focused on doing more business and we are actively looking for quality, growth-oriented businesspeople of the Capital Region to join our group. BNI is not for everyone, but those who embrace the process and the early mornings find every meeting a rewarding and educational experience.

Risk management does not have to include hiring a $400 a hour consultant. Most risk management strategies are basically just common sense acted upon. Risk management is taking the small steps necessary to mitigate the chances of a loss.

I live and work in Albany, New York. It rains and snows a lot here. Water damage to homes and dwellings is a big concern and must be properly accounted for when building an insurance program.

My name is Ryan Hanley and I am an insurance agent for the Murray Group Insurance Services located in Albany, NY. I work with members of the Albany / Capital Region community everyday to help them secure proper insurance coverage to protect their family (Auto, Home, Life, Umbrella) and their business (General Liability, Property, Workers Comp, Health).

The name Murray Group Insurance and Financial Services changes the perception of our agency (Murray is the Principal’s family name). Granted we need to maintain the same quality service, products and professionalism as we grow that have been the foundation of our agency for the last 37 years in order to retain our quality reputation. But in any business where selling is important (think every business) a prospect’s initial impression is important.
