My second published work, (My first was The Social Tools Book), will address the perpetual battle we fight everyday as professionals, as business owners and as content marketers…

…but it isn’t another tips and tricks social media book.  In fact social media plays an almost insignificant role in how we attract attention to our business and brand.

The battle for attention online starts and ends with our ability to deliver consistent value to our target audience.

How we do that is the question that drives this work.

Winning the battle for attention is about accumulation.  Not accumulation of followers or fans or connections…

But rather the accumulation of BELIEVERS…

…Believers in your value structure.

…Believers in your brand.

…Believers in your product.

The battle for attention begins and ends with the accumulation of believers in who you are people and most importantly believers in our ability to add value to their lives.

Part as an experiment and part because I think it will be fun (This stuff is supposed to be enjoyable right?) many of the ideas within Content Warfare will be hashed out on Google+.

If you follow along you’ll have good idea of concepts contained within, but my hope is that if you do follow along, your participation will shape the book into a work that will help many others…

I’m not sure if this kind of thing has been done before, but it seems like a cool idea and something that will ultimately make the finished product more valuable.
