Ryan, thanks for what appears to be a very user
primer for me. I do have most of the social networks accounts as you can
see below, in addition to Twitter. The professional service I provide I know has value to the life insurance producer, but I need to an
appropriate venue to provide useful field underwriting information to this group. Thanks again! ~ Jack

Jack, I’m very happy to help… and good luck!!
Yep, I’ve heard it all, Ryan…
Thanks for mentioning my post!
No doubt… Thanks for consistently providing ridiculously valuable content.
Great list, and yes, anymore, there are NO excuses. I’ve noticed in the last couple years, we small business owners have had to make a paradigm shift, if we care about keeping up with getting better visibility.
Not only do we need to continually optimize our sites, but we must intelligently analyze which social media platforms work well for us, and incorporate them into our daily and weekly routines. It’s more work, no doubt about it.
I put blogging at the absolute top. Google has made it crystal clear that original, useful, helpful content is what it’s all about. And the best way to do it is by blogging. There is a huge burden on small businesses however, adding new tasks and functions, but the world is changing and moving on, and if we want to keep pace, we have to accept the changes that blogging and social media have wrought.
Whether a small business budgets the time and energy to do the writing, or outsources it, social media and blogging have to be done regularly to have any effect.
Great list, and thanks for letting me get on my soapbox!
No Nancy… Thank you!
With thoughts like that I’m happen to give you a soapbox to stand on any time. I completely agree with everything that you said.
The only thing I will comment on, as I have not been able to make up my mind on the issue, is outsourcing your social content?
Do you know people that have had success outsourcing?
Thanks!!
Funny and true. Excuses are so easy to use and I am guilty often. Thanks for sharing.
Brent… excuses are the worst. We all make excuses, catching ourselves and not letting that excuse drive our actions is the Key. Obviously easier said than done.
