You know it’s there. The blank post, unfinished, haunting the back of your mind. “Write me,” it whispers, sending chills up your spine. In between your meetings, and follow-up calls, and new client introductions, that blank blog post, or Facebook post, or website post, is menacingly present. Finally, you can’t take it anymore. You drop everything to face that blank posting page. “Write me,” it whispers repeatedly, like a dark, creepy branch beating a rain-swept window. “Make every word perfect. Content is King. Inspire the world to come to you and only you.” And then, it shrieks the most frightening words of all…“Make me viral!”

There’s sweat on your brow, but the words won’t come. Your fingernails are chewed to their nubs. Still, you’re drawing a blank. The clock is ticking as you hit the backspace key again and again, erasing your shaken efforts.
