This is going to be a quick post today. I’m a firm believer in personal risk management and since I also believe that insurance is NOT risk management, I wanted to share with you this list I found on the New York AAA website titled Your Road-Trip Survival Guide.
Summertime (which will hopefully hit Albany, NY before July) is all about road-trips for many people. The weather is nice, you roll down the windows, crank the Classic Rock, Country, Gangster Rap, whatever tunes your into and cruise to a place more fun than where you live.
The only bad part about the summer road-trip is that everyone (and their mother) is also taking a road-trip. And though individually everyone is a Great Driver (wink) as a mass of thousands screaming down the New York Thruway at 75 mph, you are all Accident Machines…
So read through New York AAA’s advice on driving, slow down, and enjoy your summer road-trip without the horrible-ness of an auto accident. Your insurance premiums will thank you!
