2010 Strategy For Insurance Greatness

2009 was a year of making connections, learning new products, grinding out sales and building confidence.

2010 marks the completion of my 2nd year in the insurance business and my first real step towards Insurance Greatness.

When I use the term Insurance Greatness I’m not talking about Sales… Oh No, Sales has nothing to do with being Great.  I want to be Great (Dictionary.com: notable, remarkable, exceptionally outstanding, important, highly significant or consequential, of extraordinary powers, having unusual merit, of noble or lofty character) at Insurance, not just Making Sales.

“Great at Insurance” – Hustle, Connect, Communicate, Serve, Educate, Advise

But that is what I love about selling insurance.  As a true professional you are in a constant pursuit of greatness…

So after reflecting on my first two years in the insurance business I decided to share my 2010 Strategy for Insurance Greatness:

Out Hustle: This one is easy. I’m going to work my ass off.  This one connects all the rest. Hustle is the circulatory system of being Great. In 2010 I will Out Hustle my Competition.

What This Means to You my Client: When it comes to Connecting, Communicating, Serving, Educating and Advising, I will think first… Suggest first… Prevent first… Work first… Be Proactive to the Success of my Clients…
